Wilderness Leadership

Outdoor education and leadership are crucial to who I am. I believe in the power of the natural world as a teacher and a force to help shape both young and old on their journey of self-discovery. In the outdoors, I have worked as a guide for young adults at Northwaters Langskib, and I have also engaged in labor bushwork as a tree planter in the interior of British Columbia.

I hold a range of certifications. I have been certified as a Wilderness First Responder for nearly 10 years and am also certified as an Emergency Medical Responder within the province of British Columbia. Additionally, I hold minor certifications in Wilderness Therapy and have actively sought opportunities to expand my knowledge. While I have experience working with neurodivergent youth in a wilderness setting, I have not yet worked professionally in wilderness therapy.
